The Rajans have certain pattern to follow for a 'day', mostly everyday and the following are the things which The Rajans do together........
1. Morning family prayer:
It consists of prayers and reading /meditating God's Word, dad takes the lead.
2. Morning tea/coffee/horlicks :) :
My dad always says that " tea is tastier when someone else makes for u" and so we take turns in making the morning drink for each other. ( joel doesn't fall in this list,even if he s @home.... any one of us has to make for him,and i dunno for what reason he enjoys that privilege!!)
3. Evening tea and watching NEWS channel:
Dad comes from office,mom makes tea this time and there is always the talk about the days event,etc etc. dad and i watch news and if Joel is present he will be changing from news channel to sports channel- back and forth constantly ...apart from cricket, he is very much interested in politics , he will be explaining to the three of us regarding things happening in the parliament, BJP/ UPA , etc......... Phew www!!
4.Walking :
This is done for me.....to reduce my weight ;)
5. Night family prayer
6. Dinner.:
Dinner is the only time we all eat together on a working day. its fun eating together :) at times we get scoldings for our particular behavior which is told to be changed , but most of the times dinner is always on the 'lighter side :)'.
Being at home for the last 6 months i realized what all i had missed for 5 years of my college days.
college days/ hostel lives are fun,but being at home has its own beauty.
Joel left yesterday as his college re-opened and am sad he is not here with us for new year :(. 4 weeks passed by,so swiftly. i always prefer 'houseful' and i wonder how difficult it would have been for my mom and dad when both of us; Joel and i were out for college... probably they must have got used to it.
Joel......hmmmm... usually he doesnt do anything at home but this time he was different...... he helped mom and dad in many household works and was becoming responsible!!
Apart from this, he helped in gardening too!!!
Am still doubtfully confused over his change ;) but am happy that his 20+ 'life's innings' has taken off well............
