FOUR YEARS - the COLLEGE CHAPTER :)

Joel, in his First year of college
#  Four years ago a young lad finished his high
school with 90 % marks, taking along with him the 'Best-Boy Award' for that year. I am talking about my very own younger brother;Joel. I am writing here that with much pride, but honestly, for a 'just-average' sister having a 'super-smart'/'super-cool' brother, life can be at times, really hard!. Am seroius, not kidding.

Back to the post.

#  Four years ago, he left his warm comfy zone ( home) and went ahead to join SRM university to become an engineer. I remember that day..my mom hugged my brother and cried as if he is never gonna come back! Well, tats my mom!!.

# Four years - you get an engineering degree.#fact.

# Four years -trying to get  the-awesome / the-coolest tags :)

# Four years - of knowing 'the World'.The good, the bad and at times the ugly too.

# Four years - Equipping the most difficult skill in life;'good' Decision Making.

# Four years-  of the 'Real Learning'!. Being away from home, having got the so called freedom, for joel there were times when he faltered, tried to be one of 'the group' and did things which he shouldn't have.  His faith in Christ and his everyday -live-life motto 'What Would Jesus Do' helped him to escape many snares and have stopped him from doing things that could have scarred him for life. Four yrs of learning, indeed!.

# Four years - of making , building and maintaining strong friendships. Four years defining fun.

#Four years - and end of one chapter of life.....the 'college' chapter.

# Four years -and it just seems yesterday! ( Am quoting my mom, now. )

Joel is now back at home for a Big one-month holiday. If my predictions go correct , this will be his last BIG holiday for the next couple or more years to come. Coming July, Joel will be heading to Pune (as he has been selected, along with some of his batchmates,to work for the MNC as a software engineer), thus starting a new chapter of life, the 'career' chapter. Hope, my still 'Super-smart'/'super-cool' sole sibling enjoys his 'career' chapter, meeting blessings and joys on every new page!
